The early access version of our new study, “Extensive Validation of the Three-Branch Model in Simulating the Static and the Dynamic Behavior of EDLC Supercapacitors”, by M. Zucca, M. Hassanzadeh, O. Conti, V. Giusio, and U. Pogliano, is now available.
Key highlights of the study:
- Most of the experimental measurement data is openly available on Zenodo.
- The three-branch electrical circuit model is validated across galvanostatic charge and self-discharge cycles, as well as dynamic pulse trains up to 100 Hz and cyclic voltammetry.
- A dedicated circuit and measurement procedure are introduced to accurately assess and verify dynamic response.
- The relative discrepancy between measured and simulated terminal voltage (referred to the device’s rated voltage) remains below 3.5%.
We hope you find the paper insightful and valuable for your work. We would be glad to hear your thoughts and feedback!
