We are pleased to announce that the Publishable Summary of the project 23IND04 #MetSuperCap – Metrology for static and dynamic characterizations of supercapacitors is now available online
📜 The summary provides an overview of the project’s objectives, technical approach and expected impact in advancing reliable, traceable and standardized measurement methods for supercapacitors (SCs) and SC banks.
🖇️ As SC technologies continue to gain importance in energy, automotive, aerospace and industrial applications, the need for accurate characterization, modelling and validation tools becomes increasingly critical.
📰 This publishable summary reports the results obtained by the project partners up to now, highlighting progress beyond the current state of the art. It describes the development of traceable measurement methods, rapid techniques for State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH) determination, validated equivalent circuit models for static and dynamic applications, and the creation of large open-access datasets.
