After the first fruitful meeting with the stakeholders in March 2025, the second MetSuperCap stakeholder meeting took place online on December 3, 2025. The meeting’s goal was to align on objectives, share updates, and gather feedback on the project’s directions.
Stakeholders have shown significant interest in the open access database currently under development within the project, much of which will be available by March 2026.
The preparation of test benches for testing the supercapacitor (SC) in operation also aroused interest. Stakeholders noted that the effect of inverters and modulation techniques will need to be taken into account when assessing the SC’s dynamic response.
Stakeholders also highlighted their interest in the dynamic response of SCs, particularly the response to rapid power pulses lasting 100 ms or less. The MetSuperCap consortium is also active on this topic and plans to present results in 2026.
