“Gold Apple” Marisa Bellisario degree Award received by Ornella Conti for the thesis developed in the framework of the MetSuperCap project.

MetSuperCap Consortium congratulates Ornella Conti on receiving the Marisa Bellisario – Mela d’Oro (Gold Apple) 2026 Degree Award, on 27^th June 2026.

Ornella Conti is a PhD student at POLITO and carries out scientific research at INRiM, an activity she began with her degree thesis under the supervision of Dr. Mauro Zucca and Prof. Carlo Ragusa.

This Italian national award, dedicated to “Women Who Make a Difference,” now in its 38th edition, celebrates the talent, leadership, and contribution of women in the worlds of business, institutions, science, information, culture, and social work. The awards also include prizes for the best recent graduates in the fields of Electrical (Ornella Conti), Mechanical (Eleonora Masi), and Electronic Engineering (Elena Stecconi).

The award was presented following a selection process involving over forty Italian universities, with the contribution of Terna S.p.A., Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A., and Leonardo S.p.A., honoring three outstanding recent graduates with the highest honors. of the votes.

This important achievement recognizes the quality of the research developed within the MetSuperCap project.
